Better ratings, better matches: PadelLevels launches at East Glos Club
East Glos Club has partnered with PadelLevels to give its players a more accurate, connected way to understand their playing level and track their progress.
East Glos Club is a large rackets club based in Cheltenham, with over 2,400 members. The club offers tennis, padel, squash, racketball, pickleball and table tennis.
Padel was introduced in 2021 with the opening of three all-weather courts. Four more courts (three doubles and one singles) opened in 2025.
200 members actively play in the box leagues, and over 700 members play challenge matches, singles games, Americanos, and organised social padel sessions.
Through a full integration between PadelLevels and ServeSport, match results from activity at East Glos now contribute directly towards PadelLevels player ratings.
This includes results from open matches, internal leagues, box leagues and Americanos, helping to create a rating that develops naturally as players compete across the club.
Turning Matches Into Meaningful Ratings
One of the biggest challenges in padel is trusting your level.
Terms such as beginner, intermediate and advanced can mean very different things from club to club, booking platform to booking platform. PadelLevels takes a different approach, using actual match results to create a numerical rating that evolves with every eligible match played.
By integrating PadelLevels with the systems already used at East Glos, players can build their rating through the padel they are already playing.
The more results that connect players across Open Matches, leagues and Americanos, the stronger that rating network becomes.
A Full Integration Through ServeSport
East Glos is a ServeSport club, allowing PadelLevels to connect directly through our existing API integration.
That means results from selected competitive activity can flow into the PadelLevels rating system without East Glos having to introduce an entirely separate competition platform.
Players can continue using the club systems they already know, while PadelLevels works in the background to turn those match results into meaningful ratings.
The integration covers:
– Open Matches, helping players find and compete against others around their level
– Internal leagues and box leagues, providing regular competitive results that help ratings develop over time
– Americanos, connecting players with a wider range of partners and opponents within a single session
Together, these different match formats can create a much more connected picture of the playing community at East Glos.
Better Matches, Better Competition
A rating is most valuable when it helps players play better matches.
As more results are recorded, East Glos players will be able to use their PadelLevels rating as a simple way of understanding their standard and identifying suitable partners and opponents.
That can make it easier to organise competitive matches, create balanced leagues and bring players together who may not otherwise have played each other.
It also gives players something tangible to follow.
Instead of simply winning or losing a match, they can see how their level changes over time, measure their progress and understand how they compare with the wider playing community.
For the club, that creates another way to encourage regular match play and help players become more engaged with their padel.

We’ve already uploaded our men’s, ladies’ and mixed leagues to the portal, which will give league players an initial ranking. This will allow us to set the right levels for both social and coaching sessions, creating the opportunity for more balanced match-ups and providing fair, data-driven seedings for club tournaments.
We’re also encouraging members to enter challenge match results and Americano tournaments onto PadelLevels to allow even more members to create their own personal ranking”.
Building a More Connected Padel Community
The partnership with East Glos is another important step in the growth of PadelLevels across UK clubs.
Our aim is not simply to give every player a number. It is to build a connected rating system based on real match data, where players can take their level with them as they compete in different formats, at different clubs and against different opponents.
