Your Level is Being Calibrated
We calculate your level automatically from your match results. The more you play, the more accurate it becomes.
We don’t have any match data for you yet. Play your first rated match to get started. Until then, your level will show as TBD.
We have a very early read on your level but not enough to be confident yet. Keep playing.
You have a provisional level, the first decimal is stable — we’re still settling the second and third. You’ll appear in the rankings now.
Your level is now stable and fully confirmed. Both decimal places are shown.
How to reach a stable level faster
The quickest route is simply to get matches played and recorded. You’ll need around 8 matches to lock-in your level — and the more varied and competitive they are, the better the system can assess you.
A few easy ways to get there:
- Play a levelling session with a coach for a strong starting point
- Join an Americano to quickly get multiple matches in one session
- Enter a box league for regular, competitive play
- Sign up to a local or connected competition
- Or just start booking matches with other players and log your results
The key is consistency. Get on court, play regularly, and your level will settle quickly. Playing with a range of already-calibrated players can help your level settle faster and increase accuracy.
Common Questions
During the provisional stage we show a rounded estimate — for example, 4.3 — because we’re not yet confident enough in the exact figure. Once your level is stable, the full two-decimal level is shown.

Stability depends not just on how many matches you’ve played, but also on the confidence we have in the players around you. If the people you’ve been playing against are also new to the system, it takes a little longer for everything to settle.
Yes. Your club admin can review and confirm your level directly, which can speed up the process — particularly for new members who join after the initial club setup.
